The Bible Fellowship: which has met at 2 Barnton Grove will now be taking a short break having completed the study if Revelation.  We will be beginning a
6 week study with a Christmas theme on Monday, 12th November at 2.30 pm.   We can make room for one or two more for the next series, but need to know if you would like to join by the end of October, so the pre-reading can be passed in advance.   Please ring 339 6010 if you wish to join us.

Due to retirals, the Sound desk team is looking for two or three people to join the team.  Training will be given although it is not a complicated job.  We aim to have 7 to 8 people on the rota so your turn would come round every 7th or 8th service.  Please consider helping and if you are interested or even curious, please speak to Adrian Johnston.

Coffee Rota Volunteers Required: Anne McLennan is looking for two people to join the coffee rota – if you feel you could assist please let Julie in the Office know.

Operation Christmas Child - Shoebox Appeal: Our annual appeal for this Christian charity has started.  We are asking you to fill your own shoebox rather than bring loose items.  Flatpack shoeboxes are available in the large hall today after the service together with leaflets and packing lists and every Sunday up to 4 November. These are also available in the Church office at other times. Please put new items only in the box and do not sellotape the box closed as all boxes are checked at a checking centre, just put a rubber band round the box to keep everything secure. Boxes cost about £5 to send and if you would also like to donate this, put the money in an envelope on top of the contents in the box. All complete boxes must be handed in by Sunday 11 November. If you need any more information please see Adrian Johnston.

Sing Aloud, our Praise Group will meet on Wednesday 24th October at 7.30pm -8.30pm in the Church.  New folk are always welcome so please come along and join in.
