Anyone with reports for circulation with the papers for the January 2020 meeting should submit them to the Session Clerk/Church Office no later than Friday 13 December. Thank you


The prayer group will meet on Wednesday from 10.30am to 11.30am in the Small Hall on 11 December and will resume on Wednesday 15th January 2020. While we have the room booked for an hour please feel free to drop in for however long you can commit to! All Welcome!


Christmas Fair The WATCH Committee would like to thank everyone for making the Christmas Fair such a success in somewhat different and cold circumstances, especially stallholders and those who made donations and attended the event. Also thanks to the Curry Club for all the furniture moving. The committee are pleased to report that £6,264.83 (less some expenses) was raised and the balance will be added to the sum for this year’s charities, Beach Wheelchairs Portobello and Kindred.


Save the Children carol concert being held at Stockbridge Parish Church at 6pm on Friday 13th December. All welcome. Entry is free & there are festive refreshments at the end. For more information contact Katy Williamson, 07734 818 011


Pew Frames - of you ordered a frame they are available for collection after the service in the small hall. If you haven't ordered one but would like one purchase one, there are still some available so please see Ruth Laidlaw or email  if you are interested. In addition, it is possible to order a chopping board which is made from the pew ends - samples can be viewed at coffee.


Jubilo Christmas Concert Saturday 22nd December at St Cuthbert’s Church at 7.30pm - Tickets are available for Jubilo’s Christmas concert from Jim Laing, Amy Donaldson, Muriel Stenhouse, Issy Inness, Katy Williamson, Elspeth Williamson and Alison Hewat.


The Blackhall Suzuki Violin Group is holding its annual Christmas Concert this afternoon (8th Dec) in the church hall, starting at 3pm. In the past, the children and young folk have entertained us during our Christmas Fair but this was not possible this year so instead, they invite anyone interested to join them today at 3pm. Entrance is free but there will be an opportunity to donate towards CHAS for those who wish to do so.


Rev Gordon Farquharson requires a number of people / families to light the advent candles each week, please add your name onto the notice in the hall corridor.
