Volunteers for Venture Week 7th – 11th August

Our annual holiday club Venture Week is running again this summer, for children of Primary 1-7 years of age. To help run the club, we need your assistance! If you can help during the week (even for a day or two!) we would love to have you. You can contact Fiona Morton or sign up on the sheet in the hall corridor.

WATCH Committee:

This year we are supporting both the Clowndoctors charity and the church project Building for the Future. Our first fundraising event this year is the Summer Coin Collection. In the vestibule there is a box of empty money bags – please pick one up and fill it with loose change. Filled money bags can be brought back at any service in July and August when they can be left in the box in the vestibule or given in during the 9.30 am service. Thank you – the WATCH committee values your support.

July Issue of Kirk News:

Please note that the deadline for receipt of contributions for the July issue of Kirk News (due for publication on Sunday, 9 July) is TODAY. These should be sent to the Editor, Christine Denham, c/o church Office or emailed to

Early Family Services:

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered so far, we still have a few vacancies. If you are able to help please put your name down on the list on the Hall noticeboard, contact Julie in the Church Office email or phone 332 4431.  Your help as always is very much appreciated.

Activity Packs for under 5’s:

Please ask a member of the welcome team if you would like one.  There is also a Crèche run in the Church most Sundays during the service.

Strachan House:

The next service to be held at Strachan House will take place on 27TH June at 4pm.  We would be delighted if you have time to come along and lend your support.

Sunday Prayer Meetings:

Every Sunday at 10-10.30am in the small hall. Everyone is welcome.

Minister’s Vestry Hours:

Rev Benjamin Abeledo will be in the Vestry every Wednesday 10am-12noon and he will be pleased to see anyone who wishes to speak with him.
