Kirk Session: The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 19 February 7.30pm in the Sanctuary. The Agenda and Apologies list are on the notice board in the Office and the Minute and relevant papers can now be collected from the pigeonhole or will have been received by email.

Stated Annual Meeting: The papers for delivery by Elders to members of the congregation are now ready and can be collected from the Church Office.  One set per household to be delivered along with the Communion Cards. 

Elders Communion Duties’ Apologies listThe 2019 Rota has been distributed and is on the notice board in the Church Office along with the Apologies List.  It is only for those DUTY ELDERS who are unable to be present for Communion Duty on Sunday 24 February.

 Approval of the Annual Accounts for 2018: All Elders are requested to attend the Trustees Meeting to be held in the Church immediately after the Stated Annual Meeting on 17 March.

Minister’s Vestry Hours: Rev Benjamin Abeledo will be in the Vestry every Wednesday 10am - 12noon and he will be pleased to see anyone who wishes to speak with him.

Prayer Meetings: Every Sunday at 10-10.30am in the small hall and every Wednesday morning (unless stated) in the vestry from 7am – 8am.
Everyone is welcome.

The World Day of Prayer: is on Friday 1st March at 2.30pm in Holy Cross Church, Davidsons Mains, followed by refreshments in the church. This year the service was written by the Christian women of Slovenia with the theme "Come - Everything Is Ready" Do come along and join us you will be warmly welcomed.

TUESDAY TOPICS: The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 19 February at 7.30pm in the Small Hall for ‘THE WOMEN PILOTS OF THE AIR TRANSPORT AUXILIARY – SPITFIRE WOMEN’ by Roy Johnstone. All are welcome, and visitors pay £2.

Coffee Rota: Volunteers are required for the Sunday morning Coffee / Tea rota. If you can assist please speak with Anne McLennan.

Early Family Services: We are looking for families to help at the 9.30am services April, May and June.  If you are able to lend a hand please put your name down on the list on the Hall noticeboard, contact Julie in the Church Office email secretary@blackhallstcolumba.org.uk or phone 332 4431.  Your help as always is very much appreciated.

Classical musical concert: Vivaldi. Handel, Bach, Scottish and Show Tunes plus some surprises! Saturday 23rd February 7.30pm. Tickets £7 each, £15 families including refreshments available from Church Office 0131 332 4431.

Ceilidh: All welcome at Blackhall St Columba’s Ceilidh on Saturday March 30th at 7pm –Tickets £5 available from Church Office or on the door. Wear something tartan!

The Bible Fellowship: Which meets at Apartment 3, 2 Barnton Grove will meet again for a six-week Lenten Study beginning THURSDAY, 21st FEBRUARY at 2.30pm.   Please note change of day. If any new members would like to join us, please let Bob Barker know so that he can get the study notes out asap.

Sing Aloud: our Praise Group will meet Wednesday 27 February in the Sanctuary at 7.45pm. We welcome everyone who enjoys singing a variety of songs to come along.

FRESHSTART: Are currently short of shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, laundry tabs, toilet rolls, toilet cleaner, washing up liquid as well as pots and pans and ladles. They also have asked for new/good condition socks.
